Tasty BBQ Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2009
i made this for a large BBQ and so many people raved at how good it was. its definietly a nice twist to youe everyday Corn on the Cob. the only change i made was using miced garlic (the kind you find in jars in the produce isle) it really gives it a nice taste and it also adds to the tenderness with the olive oil its in.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
I did not care for this recipe at all. I followed the directions to the T....the ham was dry and did not smell good while cooking, which shocked me because i would have thought it would smell good with the spices and cider. it had an okay flavor...nothing to rave about. i would not make this recipe again.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
so delicious!!!!!! it was like eating chinese food at my favorite resturant!! i also lightly floured my chicken before cooking then which thickened up the sauce perfectly. for a side dish i made a simple chicken fried rice (from seasoning sold in the asian food isle at any grocery store) and also some hot and sour soup. it was one of the best meals i had eaten in a long time!!

Always A Winner Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
i really loved this marinade! its alot of differant and random spices to be thrown together but it really makes the ckn turn out with a great flavor and so juicy. my husband is more of a steak guy so its hard to please him with chn but he loved this recipe. the only thing i really did differant was use lemon juice instead of the lime (it was in my fridge already and it kept me from making a trip to the store for a lime)

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

easy and delicious! i made it a bit healthier by using lowfat cream cheese, peanut butter and pie crust. it still has the same great flavor and you dont feel quite as guilty eating it!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
all i can say is wow! for such and easy recipe it really is a great dish. i used 1 packet of dry onion soup mix with 2 cups of water, i also didnt add the salt but added just a dash more of the Worcestershire sauce which i think is great for beef. like others said, they did crumble a bit, but i didnt find it as a problem.

if you are a whiskey person tihs drink is perfect. i love amaretto as well so this drink to me is excellent. its not overly sweet so even guys will drink this. you can tweek it to your own liking, adding more amaretto and cranberry if you like sweeter drinks.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
my husband and i thought this was a pretty good recipe. the chicken turned out very juicy with a suttle flavor. i was however a bit disapointed, i expected more flavor. there was definietly a balsamic flavor but the other spices really didnt come through much. next time i think i will add a bit more of the seasoning to it. but like i said, very juicy and a good recipe, just tweek it up a bit with the spices.

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
was a big hit at my small dinner party. next time i would use a little more apples and less raisens, the raisens overtook the pudding. i also followed another viewers idea and sauted the raisens and apples in butter and a splash of brandy which added a wonderful flavor. definietly a keeper recipe.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

turned out okay, next time i would use half the amount of brown sugar like others suggested. it was way to sweet, the brown sugar took over the whole dish.
