Beefy Cheesy Pasta

I was a little skeptical about the combination of cheese, soy sauce and milk, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was really a simple, tasty, quick to fix family meal. I used mozzarella cheese -- don't like American. I will keep this recipe handy for a last minute meal.

Quiche Lorraine I

This is a delicious recipe. Even though I didn't have cream, I was able to use whole milk and still have it come out very yummy. I listened to the other reviewers and reduced the milk to 1 1/2 cups. I will definitely make this again.

Red River Beef Stroganoff

I am awarding this recipe 5 stars for taste and ease of preparation. I chose this recipe to use a leftover beef roast for an additional meal. It was simple to alter the recipe to fit my needs. I substituted the leftover pan juices for the beef broth. I omitted the mushrooms for our family's personal taste. The recipe came out delicious, and I will definitely use it again.

Tender Potato Rolls

This is a good recipe, but not fantastic. I made exactly as directed. Dough required an extra 1 1/2 cups of flour and was still sticky. After rising, I sprayed my hands with cooking spray and divided into pieces. IMHO, I would like the roll sweeter. I believe next time I will use sugar instead of honey and use 1/2 cup instead of 1/4 cup. I will also reduce the water to 1 1/2 cups.

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Very good recipes that I will make again. I followed the recipe but substituted freshly ground soft wheat (we like the nutrition and texture). I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars.

Chicken Corn Chowder

I have altered this recipe because I don't use bouillon due to the chemicals. I have made the chowder with the whole chicken as described and with cut up chicken breasts and organic boxed chicken broth. If I don't have cream, I just use enough milk to whiten. My biggest improvement on the recipe is to use fresh corn cut off the cob. You will not believe the difference! No matter how I make chicken corn chowder, this recipe is a great starting place and my family always loves it.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love this recipe! I cookies come out best if I refrigerate the dough before baking. I always use real butter, and I usually roll the dough into balls and refrigerate before baking. Then I pop them in a preheated oven for 9 minutes and the come out perfect -- crispy on the outside and tender in the middle.

Alfredo Sauce

I served this for my daughter's birthday dinner. Everyone agreed that this is as good as any restaurant. I included diced chicken to round out the dish. I made the mistake of trying to cook the sauce to slowly when I added the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I had to turn up the heat to get the cheese to melt into the sauce. I did not let it boil, but I did let it get very hot while continually whisking.

Honey Mustard Dressing I

Wow, this is so good and easy to fix. I love that it is healthy for us too. This recipe is a definite keeper. Please make this instead of buying the dressings off the grocery store shelves. Almost all of them are chock full of MSG and it is so bad for you. Save your kids from eating MSG and make this dressing instead.

No-Mayonnaise Ranch Dressing

I think this is very good. Just as good as the famous Ranch on the grocery store shelves. The best part is no MSG. Did you know every creamy grocery item on the shelves has MSG. Do you have headaches? It very well may be MSG. I avoid all msg products like the plague.

Wonderful Waffles

This was a very good recipe. Not great, but a good one. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. It excelled in ease of preparation, taste and texture -- very light and tender. Mine did not get as crispy as I expected, however, I will definitely use the recipe again. I did substitute freshly ground soft wheat for all-purpose flour as I do in almost all my cooking. After reading some of the reviews in which reviewers stated that there wasn't much taste, I did add about 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. The outcome was a very tasty waffle.

French Toast Casserole

I thought this was very good. I used leftover apple bread that I had made earlier and cubed it as the recipe instructs. I doubled the recipe and baked in a 9X13 pan and used the required amount of milk and eggs. It took a full 60 minutes to bake the custard and I did have to cover with foil about the last 20 minutes. I think this is a great basic recipe that you can easily alter to fit your family's needs and using what you have on hand. I came out as good as something I might expect to find at a bed and breakfast.

Chocolate Sheet Cake III

This is a very good, easy recipe. May I strongly recommend that you use butter and not margarine. Also, for the frosting, you don't need to measure the 3/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk. Just go ahead and use the rest of the can. I'd like to try it again without the cinnamon.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

This is a delicious recipe. I baked in a glass pan for 30 minutes, but think I will shorten the baking time just a bit and take out of the oven while still gooey. Even so, they are delicious.

Taco Seasoning I

I added this to 8 oz. of tomato sauce and used as a substitute for taco sauce. Have you looked at the ingredients in packaged taco seasoning? Almost every brand has msg in it. Not for my family. This recipe is an awesome substitute.

Burrito Pie

This will be a new family favorite. I did make a few changes to suit our family tastes. I omitted the olives and green chiles. Instead of a jar of taco sauce I used 8 oz. of tomato sauce and the taco seasoning found here on allrecipes. I used a 15 oz. can of diced tomatoes and 1 can of refried black beans. I layered as described adding additional shredded cheese. I also simmered the meat mixture for about 45 minutes allowing it to naturally reduce. This is easy to alter to meet your family's preferences and what you have on hand. I

Betsy's Poppy Seed Chicken

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

This is just delicious. I omitted the pecans and rolled the cheese ball in mini chocolate chips and toffee bits. I made it the night before and refrigerated it until serving time.
