I wasn't sure about this but I threw it into the slow cooker and it worked out really well, nice and tender. I thought the sesame oil would over power everything else but it didn't it worked great together. This is a new staple in my house.

Chicken Tikka Masala

I really liked this however I found it a little sweeter than I would have liked. I did cut way back on the salt and barely used any cayenne to suit my taste but otherwise quite good.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

I found this to be quite tasty! The only made 3 changes 1-no onion 2-used seasoning salt instead of regular 3- used three cloves of garlic instead of one. Otherwise I followed the directions. It was very simple and turned out wonderfully!

Marshmallow Crispie Bars

double the recipe and put in a 9x13 pan. Add 2 tsp of corn syrup and 1-2 Tbs of cocoa powder. Add melted chocolate to the top and it's perfectly gooey and yummy!

Asian Salmon

very good after minor adjustments, omit olive oil, double sauce, extra garlic, add ginger and then it's perfect!! You could even add a bit of corn starch to thicken the sauce so that it would stay on the salmon better.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

The meatballs don't need the full amount of bread crumbs the recipe calls for. They could also use a little spicing up. I also found this recipe way too oily. You use a 1/4 in the sauce and then you cook the meatballs in the sauce resulting in more oil. To saute the onions and garlic use just a tables spoon or so.

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

I added some cumin and after it had cooked the full amount of time I turned on the broiler to crisp it up a bit. However I found it quite oily so I'll reduce that next time. Quite yummy, even my toddler ate his whole supper which is always a win.

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

I made these in the slow cooker and they turned out pretty good. I substituted garlic salt for regular and added a bit of garlic powder to the meat balls. Still needed more flavor but I'm not quite sure what.

Toffee Crunch Cookies

a great base recipe. I made it twice, the first time with half choc chips and half toffee, and extra cocoa. The second time just with choc chips and mint flavor. They were SO good!
