I have been married for 25 years and have raised 2 children to adulthood. I am now waiting on the next phase of my life...grandchildren! I really love to cook just about anything as long as it doesn't have green peppers. I found out recently that a family member was the first author of "The Whitehouse Cookbook". So I'm thinking the tradition of cooking has long been in our family. In recent memory though my grandmothers are the influence. Every Thanksgiving my husband and I have a turkey cook off. My turkey wins for flavor but his wins for the skin...go figure. Many but it doesn't stop me! Thank goodness for fast food places.
