Ashley's Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have to agree with some of the reviewers, these cookies are dry. To help them out I added one more egg and 1/4tsp baking soda. I also greased my cookie sheet. They came out great with my changes.

this is recipe I make all the time and I am asked for the recipe all the time. My grandmother used to make it and she was known as a great cook in her town. Definitely a keeper!

Homemade Flour Tortillas

I made these with my daughter and they were liked by all! I used butter instead of lard, and a tortilla press makes them come out as thin as you like. I got my tortilla press on ebay for $15 with shipping! the press is very handy if you make a lot of spanish dishes!

Cocoa Banana Bars

These are great! I do agree with the others about not changing a thing. Also, I noticed that 1 1/2 cups of mashed bananas is about 4-5 bananas. Mine were medium size. Please make sure you measure otherwise the bars will be dry.

French Beef Stew

Husband is hooked on this recipe. He is not much of a beef stew lover but he loved this one! two changes I made: red wine instead of water, added about 1/2 c. of salsa to add flavor to tomatoes.

These are wonderful. I followed the recipe. I think that as long a you have a 9x9 fiestaware dish, you shouldn't have any problems with baking. VERY YUMMY!!

Conchas (Mexican Sweet Bread)

This is an excellent recipe! I thought the topping was going to be hard to put on the rolls. I found out that if you flatten the topping on clear wrap, the topping is easy to lift and put on the rolls. My entire family enjoyed these!!

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

WOW! this recipe was great! I did change the flour to 5tbsp. and added 4c each of strawberries and rhubarb. I also decreased the sugar to 3/4c. I thought the crumb topping was going to be too much but was just right. This is a great recipe for anyone to try. A winner!

Great recipe, I only had to make it a cup of mayo instead of 3/4c. Macaroni is a little dry if you don't add the extra mayo. the flavor is wonderful.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Great recipe! instead of wheat germ I used ground flax and instead of honey I used maple syrup. Kids loved it!! thanks for a great recipe!!
