I love to cook and my dream career would be to work in a test kicthen for a magazine. But alas I don't get to play with food all day, I am a clothing store manager. I love to travel and try new cuisines and then recreate them at home. I'm always up to try anything new be it a gadget or new food. I love to cook Italian and I can make darn near anything out of a quality chicken breast. Christmas Dinner with 30 or so immediate family members sharing a potluck of different foods. Christmas Eve is a smorgasboard of all kinds of appetizers and is the time to try anything new. This week it's learning how to make bagels from scratch. I made beautiful stuffed chicken breasts for our dinner one night, they were gorgeous and oozing with awesome flavors. I took them out of the oven and set them on the counter, in a pool of water, and the dish exploded! Bits of glass everywhere and no way I was going to eat the chicken. I've never been able to recreate the dish, what a tragedy.
