About this Cook
I have a wonderful husband and two great boys. Our boys are very active in sports so we are always on the go. We all love going to the lake and camping in the mountains.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make anything that my family will eat. With two very picky boys sometimes that is a chore. I really enjoy any recipe that my boys will help me cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Around every holiday season my husband, our sons, and I all gather in the kitchen to bake lots of goodies to share.
My cooking triumphs
Cooking anything that my whole family will enjoy.
My cooking tragedies
Just recently I burnt some breadsticks. My teenage son took a bite, and tried to be very polite about the "burnt offering," he looked at me and said, "Mom, did you cook these longer than you usually do?"

Chantal's New York Cheesecake
This cheesecake is wonderful!! My mom-in-law makes a cheese torte every Christmas and my husband says this cheesecake may even be better. What a HUGE compliment. This was the first time I have made homemade cheesecake, time consuming but worth it. The only thing I found was that you do need to add a lot more butter to the graham crackers to make the crust stick together. Thanks for the recipe!

Crabby Cream Cheese Wontons
Great snack. Husband ate several while he was letting the charcoal heat up. I baked mine in the oven with an egg coating. Tasted great. Thanks!

Hash Brown Casserole II
We loved this recipe. Husband ate almost all of the leftovers by himself! Smelled great while baking. Thank you for the recipe.
