World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.
I am *so* confused right now. I read many reviews raving about how fantastic this recipe was and I was excited to try it today. There was only one review I had seen which called the scones "flavorless," Unfortunately, after making the scones, I now agree with the negative review. While the scones had a nice texture, they did not have much flavor. I even made sure not to overmix the dough. Oh well, better luck next time...
