Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made these for christmas after trying so many different ch chip cookie recipes i wanted to try a new one. I thought these sounded like a good recipe. I didnt have any butter flavor crisco, so i used half cup butter and half cup regular crisco, 3 tsp. van ext.(not mexican) and i used dark ch. chips in my cookies. I refrigerated the dough for about an hour and they came out on the thin side but very delicious out of the oven, how chocolate chip cookies are suppose to be. Very tasty. I dont know what the SECRET is in this recipe but they do turn out good.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Very delicious and quite easy to make. Usually have all the ingredients needed. Did use the wine. It is a nice change from the ordinary spegetti. Will make again.

Cake Balls

These are good but thought they would be better. They do get a little time consuming dipping all those balls and it is hard to get to look nice. Mine never turn out like the ones in the pictures. They are alittle gooey inside, maybe use less frosting and make sure your chocolate is thin so it doesnt get clumpy. I dont know if it is worth all the time involved. All it is is boxed cake mix, nothing special.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Chicken in a Pot

Roasted Garlic Bread

this bread was delicious!! the whole family loved it. Critic husband, 6 year old, picky 4 year old and even my 16 month old. I added mozzarella cheese on top. I cant wait to make it and eat it again. So easy and wonderful.

Candy-Coated Milk Chocolate Pieces Cookies I

We thought these cookies were very delicious. I used half crisco shortening and half butter and put the batter into the freezer to stiffen them up a bit, it keeps them from spreading to much. They were very soft and they will not last long. I also mixed in most of the m&m and then put a few on top of each cookie so you can see them.

Pizza Dough I

We did not care for this pizza dough. Even though it is quick it still needs to be good. It was very dry and bland and i even added fresh diced garlic, oregano, kosher salt, butter and parmesean cheese on top. Will not make again.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Whole family did not like this. Added a bag of broccoli since the recipe didnt seem to have enough substance to it, im glad i did or it would have been inedible. Will not be making this again. Sorry.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Very delicious and the whole family loved it, including husband, a 3 year old and 5 year old and a 1 year old. Pretty simple, i followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect for us. I did use thinly sliced breasts so i didnt have to pound them, thats the way to go. Will make often. Its hard to find something for dinner that everyone likes.

Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream

I give this recipe a 4 star rating even though it is absolutely delicious because i think if you use the amount of peanut butter called for it would way to much, like eating peanut butter straight out of the container. But of course everyone has different tastes. I used a little less than 1/2 cup p butter and the rest i followed the recipe, and it is super creamy and delicious. I might even add less peanut butter next time, like 1/4 cup.

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Oh my this is so good. We have a abundant supply of fresh blueberries and wanted to try this and it is delicious. Used 1 cup of butter instead of shortening added a little bit of lemon juice to the berries and a dash of van extract. Cant wait to eat it with homemade vanilla ice cream. Kids love it also.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Cinnamon Ice Cream

Wonderful ice cream. I make lots of ice cream and this one was delicious and very creamy. The only thing i did different was to cut back on the cinnamon a bit, 1 1/2 tsp instead of 2. I couldnt stop eating it as i was put it into a container to put in the freezer. I also hd fresh oatmeal cookies, and oh my were they good together. Cant wait to eat more.

Bread Machine Bagels

These did not work for me. I made them in my bread machine and followed the recipe except for i let mine rise overnight in the frig until the next morning. They looked like they rose well but after boiling and baking they were sort of flat, so flat that when i sliced them in half all that was left of them was a crusty crunchy piece of flat bread. They had a nice taste. I dont think i will make them again.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Delicious and easy with many possibilities. I cooked it following the recipe but did not slice, we served them with buns. Maybe next time i would add a can of crushed tomatoes like other viewers suggested. Can be served with noodles, rice or just along mashed potatoes. We used hillshire farms sweet and hot sausage. Yummy.

Meatball Sandwich

Best meatballs i ever made or tasted and me and my family always make meatballs when we have picnics or parties. I followed the recipe but needed to triple for a birthday party. The only thing i added to it was about 1tbsp of worsteshire sause. Usually my meatballs tend to fall apart but not these maybe because they were baked instead of pan seared. After they baked for 25 minuted i put them into the crockpot to keep them warm with 2 jars of garlic tomatoe sauce and served with buns. Delicious!! My new permanent meatball recipe.
