This was the worst recipe. It was a complete failure. they were bland and soooo thin they made tortilla thin pancakes. I was very very dissapointed. I followed the recipe exactly. I recommend some modifications to improve it. Sorry. I rarely say anything negative, but i was embarrassed by this and had to come up with a whole new meal with hungry men circling me. Not good.

WOW!!! I had to beat the guys away while this was cooking. I was super pleased with this recipe...however. I did not have some items so I did some substitutions. I did the chicken with a little butter as it says.. recommend cooking like this, chicken was perfect. I did not have the italian dressing mix, but I used dry onion soup mix and Mrs Dash garlic blend. I also did not have cream cheese, so I used the yummy Allouette garden herb spreadable cheese and a few spoonfuls of sour cream. I added a splash of white wine some worcestershire and a dash of lawry seasoning salt and OH MY WORD!! I tasted the sauce during the last half hour and yuuuuummmmm! I allowed (big mistake) the boys to try it too and I literally had to keep a spoon in my hand to ward them off lol. (by the way my "boys" are 50, 20 and 19). Enjoy!

I made this by doubling the recipe and baking in a 9 X 13 pan with the foil lining. I kneaded the mix by hand with the butter as others suggested, and I LOVED IT!! I made it for the bake sale we have each week to benefit the students in my Special Ed class. It was a hit and the first thing that sold out! One customer said that it was her new favorite. Others are eager to try it with various flavored jams. One is requesting it with a sugar-free jam. It was a hit! MY hubby (who states he is not into sweets much), gobbled them up this weekend when I made it again at home. He told me that I better hide the next batch that is headed for school or it will never make it to the bake sale. This is the best review I can give for any of the recipes I have tried on here.
