I am and old fashion cook that loves to try new recipes. Married over twenty five years and blessed with three children. They have families of their own now, but call on me to help with cooking problems. And also to share recipes which I love. When I was first married I could hardly boil an egg. My mom did all the cooking and I was not smart enough to watch her. She was the kind of cook that didn't measure very much or follow recipes. So with the help and kindness of a great husband I learned to cook pretty much on my own. But I follow recipes and even make my own so I can share them with family and friends. I love to bake, my husband has a sweet tooth. Big Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Making my own pie crust! I make a really good pie crust. And it only took me about five years to learn how! The hardess thing for me to learn was making my own pie crust. For some reason i just had a horrible time, sometimes the crust would fall apart other times it would hold together but be hard not flaky and tasted bad.
