About this Cook
I was not taught how to cook growing up and so I was never interested. I really started to cook when I got married. I have learned alot and cook some good things, but I still have a lot to learn. Now I am changing my life around to living frugal so I am very interested in making things at home rather than buying them at the store.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts.
My cooking tragedies

Almond Butter Icing
I have been using Wilton's recipe for icing since I took a class on cake decorating. The base of this recipe is similar, but adds flavor. The butter makes it creamier and the almond adds flavor so it doesn't taste too sweet.

Taco Bean Burgers
This was a little sweet. Maybe next time I will try using pork n' beans. I also added onion powder. I did not have buns on hand so I put it on my baked potato with sour cream. It was good. Others ate it plain.
