I'm a 26 year old southern gal and I've been married for 4 years. No children yet, but I do have one poodle mix dog who thinks he is definitely my first born:-) I just realized about a month ago that I really enjoy baking more than cooking. But if I had to say what my favorite thing to cook is, it would be gumbo, hands down! Very much tradition, all the women in the kitchen cackling, arguing, and doing what we do best...take care of everything and everyone. I don't know if I'd say I have any triumphs but I have come a long way since I got married. I used to only cook traditionally southern dishes but now I try any and everything I or my husband is interested in trying. There have been a few:-) LOL Sometimes you just gotta start over!
