About this Cook
Well I have been cooking a long time and enjoy trying new recipes as often as possible. I recently found out that my husband has gluten intolerance, so my cooking has had to change quite a bit. I have had to step up my cooking skills to make sure there is always a meal on the table.
My favorite things to cook
I have always loved to make chocolate eclairs, and various other desserts. I also have enjoyed slow cooking recipes. Mostly for the fact that the meats are always tender.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family tradition was always cinnimon rolls at thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
Triumphs? Well I have definitely had the most amazing mango ice cream this one time. Except I didn't write down the recipe. I think it was just having good fruit.
My cooking tragedies
I have many tragedies, you just have to keep trying.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
I love this recipe and so does everyone I make it for. My husband hates beans so I make it with green and red bell peppers and corn, and I make my own taco seasoning to be Gluten-free. Other than that this is awesome!

Brownie Biscotti
I make this recipe for everyone I know and they love it! The only thing I change is the flours so it is Gluten-free. I put in equal parts rice flour, tapioca starch, and corn starch. They are a little bit crumbly, but they taste just as good. Thanks for the recipe I love this one.

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin
This turned out great for me. I had to make my own Teriyaki sauce so it was gluten-free. I also added quick rice at the end so it would soak up the juices. The pork came out very tender, and we like sweet teriyaki so we skipped the chilies and added honey instead. We will definitely be making this again.
