About this Cook
I love to cook for my Husband and kids. They love being my little guinea pigs when it comes to new recipes. I take pride in making a great meal for my family.
My favorite things to cook
Anything new.. I love trying new recipes. I have to cook for a diabetic so working with new recipes creates challenges.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have a potluck once a year and show off our cooking skills. You know yours was great when your dish is empty. You know it was the best if it is empty first.
My cooking triumphs
After finding out my husband was diabetic I had to learn how to cook all over again. I am learning something everyday.
My cooking tragedies
First time I made chicken and dumplings after I was first married, my water ran dry under my dumplings so when I poked into the dumplings they poofed and fell into the burnt mush at the bottom.. Being newlyweds my husband didn't want to hurt my feelings and still ate it..I begged him not but he did.. I knew then why I married him. We are still together today 11 years later and He says I am a much better cook now..

Fudge Puddles
Wow.. Didn't make a single change.. These are so good... I will make these over and over again.. *added note 2nd time made* I took a few batches to work and had co-workers ooohhing and aahhing over them, asking for the recipe.. I did add walnuts to the top and replaced the milk chocolate with white chocolate chips.. The fudge was so smooth and I believe tasted better. I will probably make them this way from now on. *A tip* don't fill the mini muffin cups to full, when they flowed over the cup, the overflow part would cut off from the cookie when I made the well.. These are so worth making you won't be dissapointed.

Baked Ziti I
Great recipe.. I like to make this when we have company coming over.. Hearty enough to fill everyone and easy enough to still enjoy the company..

Wally's Rib Rub
I use this to rub my ribs, then bake with a little apple cider vinigar. I then use Al's Kc Masterpiece recipe from this sight to mop my ribs... Excellent combination...
