They were delicious. I wouldn't call them to die for though. The tin gets very full and I was worried they would stick. The butter melts out of the crumb topping, down the side of the muffin liner (if you use one) and coats the pan nicely. I had a hard time getting the family to eat them. Next time I"ll make 1/2 the recipe.

If you are hungry for custard coffee cakes, make these! They literally taste like custard because of the pudding, egg, and so much milk! They would be much tastier if the batter was more like a cake batter. I found the "cupcake" itself was heavy and thick even as uncooked batter. I wouldn't make these again. Nothing like what I thought!
