New Year's Eve
About this Cook
I am married with no children. My husband is from South America and LOVES to eat. We both work full time so I frequent this site to get new ideas for meals from all cultures. We will review loads of recipes together then pick one to try. I enjoy this site so much because it allows me to see the ‘tweeks’ others have made to a recipe and I really enjoy the benefit of the input.
My favorite things to cook
I love to try new things, I enjoy expanding my culinary horizons!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always enjoyed the holidays with my family, all of us in the kitchen together. It is something that I look forward to every year.
My cooking triumphs
They are too numerous to go into LOL. Seriously when my husband literally takes a picture of his dinner when I set his plate down. That dish is already a winner.
My cooking tragedies
Those are seriously too numerous to count. I look at it like this: Even Babe Ruth struck out sometimes, and he ended up okay. :)

Garlic Prime Rib
I served this for Christmas dinner, it was my first attempt at Prime Rib and it turned out perfect!! You could taste the garlic all the way through the meat. Thank you so much, we will be using this recipe again!

Asian Lettuce Wraps
Awesome, my husband loves this recipe. I use ground turkey and ground ginger but other than that I follow the recipe. We have it frequently just served over a bed of lettuce more like a salad.

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
Awesome. I used the large portabella mushroom caps and sauted diced baby bellas, onions and garlic to mix in with the crab meat. MMMMMMM. Turned out perfect. I am making it again for the holidays.
