Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta
It was a great starting point for me, I'd never made my own tomato sauce before, but I had some fresh tomatoes to use up! I chopped three medium tomatoes instead of the canned ones, and used fresh basil instead of dried. It was delicious, but for consistency with fresh tomatoes I really should have pureed at least part of it to give it more 'saucyness'.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
Delicious! Such a great standard! I added an extra egg and a pinch more milk because that's the way I like them, but I will definitely make these again :)

Eggnog Bread
I've made this every year since Taste of Home first published it. It's so good! Be careful not to overbake though, it can dry out pretty quickly.
