OMG!! This is great and I cannot wait to give these as gifts! I had to "sample" before giving and now I have to make more! I even brought a jar to keep in my desk at work. I did put all the ingredients in a food processor and mixed it that way. Nice and smooth. HIGHLY recommend!

WOW!! These are GREAT!!! The only "complaint" I had was they were very crumbly. So I took 2 and put the glaze in the middle and made sandwich cookies. YUM!! I do not use shortening so I used 4 sticks of butter. May be why...not sure. Also I have to agree with they are better the 2nd day! We are doing a cookie exchange at work and I wanted to do something different (I am afraid we are going to have 20 people bring in chocolate chip cookies!!) this is for sure what I am bringing (if I can get them out of the house!!).

Very good! I did not use the glaze provided but used a vanilla glaze. I also baked it in 2 loaf pans instead. Turned out great! Brought it to a Memorial Day Cookout and didn't have anything to take home!!
