I love to cook for friends and family! Anything! Grew up on a farm, we canned a lot in the summers and even had our own beef and pork. Grew up in a family of wonderful cooks. I continue on with that tradition of loving to cook and serve people...and now two of my three children also love to cook, and one of them is a doctor! When I first married I was trying to fix a pot of pinto beans and ham hocks. I'm sure my pan was a pretty thin, cheap pan and I boiled the beans so hard the pan got a hole in it and then of course the house filled with smoke, beans and pan were ruined of course. About that time my new sister in law came to our house to borrow a suit case. I was so embarrased I went to my bedroom, shut the door and cried until she left! Now 30 years later, I have better pans and am a much better cook! :)
