About this Cook
I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. I love cooking for my family and entertaining. Cooking allows me to get in touch with my creative side, while making other people happy by getting their bellies full.
My favorite things to cook
I love to try new recipe and new techniques
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking with my 6 y/o daughter. It reminds me of cooking with my mother, the best cook ever.
My cooking triumphs
A few years ago around Thanksgiving, I told my husband that I wanted to have family over for Thanksgiving. I made every dish from appetizers to dessert and the entire meal was a hit. But, the highlight was when my mother-in-law told me she enjoyed every bite.
My cooking tragedies
I was in the 7th grade taking home economics. We were learning to make pancakes, which is something I dread cooking even to this day. So it was my turn to make my pancakes which I burned to a crisp. The whole school was smoky and smelled of burned starch. Needless to say I had a very hard time after that.

Glazed Dijon Carrots
Loved this. I used grey pupons honey dijon musturd and light brown sugar. I was skeptical of the mustard but it tasted great not to tangy. Definately a keeper.

Cajun Wild Rice
Good rice dish. If it had a little more kick to it I would be five stars. I didn't add the sausage, only because I made chicken breast stuff with sausage. But next time I'll add the sausage and maybe some cayenne pepper.

Creolized Stuffed Chicken Breasts
This is a great addition to my chicken recipes. It's so easy to make. Hubby loved it. I didn't add as much cajun spice as the recipe called for because my daughterdoesn't like spicy food but next time I will definately add more spice.
