About this Cook
I am 32 and love to cook. I have worked in the service industry business for 18 years. Growing up in the south and watching my grandmother cook I learned to cook southern home style foods first. I then moved on to cooking ethnic foods.
My favorite things to cook
Pizza, Bread, grilling, Indian, or just about anything except sweets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
A southern thanksgiving. Which is highlighted by turkey dressing, butterbeans, okra, and some kinda meat!!
My cooking triumphs
Traveling to India last year and taking cooking classes!! Learning Punjabi and southern Indian styles of cooking. Teaching myself to bake breads by forcing myself to cook a loaf almost everyday for a year. Perfecting the art of making pizzas.

Greek Chicken Pitas
This was mediocre, will not make again. I don't think cooking the chicken breasts in the Crockpot produces a gyro style meat. I'll stick to grilling my chicken gyros.

Bronco Burger
You really need a hearty bun to stand up to these burgers, I made whole wheat potato buns. Submitted a pic, hopefully they will publish it. I substituted cheddar for pepperjack (forgot to buy it.) The burgers are good, almost like meatloaf. I didn't add the seeds and they were not spicy, next time I'll add the seeds.

Garlic Pickled Eggs
Made these for my bar. Have used different recipes for making pickled eggs, but chose this one because of the addition of red onions. After about 2 days the onions turned white. I made a few changes, used almost a pure vinegar mixture, added fresh jalapenos, and added pepper corns.
