Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
I had such high expectations about this recipe, and it was really bad. I followed the directions exactly, just added a bag of frozen veggies to the mix, and it was bland and had no flavor. The next day was not good either. Sorry. :(

Flatlander Chili
I think this is the best chili recipe on this site. I made as directed the first time, and the second time I opted to add garlic, diced tomatoes, and beef stew meat. I didn't need all of the tomato juice, and substituted some of the juice with beer. Put in a slow cooker on low for 4 hours to let flavors mix, and you have one heck of a chili!! YUM!!!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili
This was good chili, not great chili. I used ground beef as well as chuck steak, cooked it together, then threw everything into my slow cooker, cooked it for 2 days, and it was ok. It was very filling, but isn't that ultimate chili recipe I'm looking for. Other than adding the steak, I followed the other ingredients as written.
