Original Irish Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
I've been making a recipe similar to this for years. The only difference was instead of the cup of heavy cream, my recipe calls for 1 cup of light cream. Everything else was identical, down to the amounts. I don't buy the bottled stuff any more, this is so much better.

Mother-in-law Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
Perfect for what I was looking for. It's a great, quick soup recipe. I used brown rice so it needed extra cooking time. I also added a boulion cube, 3/4 c frozen peas, and put the carrots back in when I returned the shredded chicken. I love spicy but my family does not, this was great for them. I sent a pot of it over to my father who is on a low sodium, low cholesterol diet.

Cranberry Apple Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
I made these muffins for breakfast Christmas morning. I chopped all the fruits and veggies the day before and had them ready to add to the batter in the morning. When my 3 kids (all college students) got up they were fresh from the oven and delicious.

Margaritas

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
I have been making margaritas with a very similar recipe for 20 years so I was shocked when I saw this. However, I use a 12 oz can of limeade and mix in the tequila and triple sec on a 2:1 ratio. Depending on how strong your like your tequila I've made them with 1/2 C tequila, 1/4 C triple sec all the way up to a full cup of tequila.
