Sigh - there's so many. I love challenges, so I've just taught myself how to make a killer risotto. I'm probably God's gift to man because I pan sear the PERFECT steak.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The 3 things I couldn't live without are all made by my Granny - her chicken soup, her BBQ ribs, and her homemade BBQ sauce! Her soup really is a cure-all!
My cooking triumphs
I pride myself in mastering the toughest basics - a perfect steak, creamy risotto, crepes and souffles. The rest is just fluff.
My cooking tragedies
I've had quite a few disposer meals, mainly when I was younger. But since outfitting my kitchen with the correct cookware and knives, and throwing out the gadgets, I rarely have a bad meal.
