Marinated Venison Steaks

This is an INCREDIBLE recipe!! I love it and after trying it on deer meat and having a GREAT success I used it on a beef roast in the slow cooker. This is my husbands favourite marinade right now.

I liked this recipe, I think that it would be really good for people who don't like the tase of fish. I used cheese flavoured ritz crackers on top, my husband liked it but said it wasn't his favourite, he would have rather you could taste the flavour of the fish more.

Summa Borscht

my family makes it with mennonite farmer sausage (pork) and beet leaves added my grandmother made it with buttermilk, but my mother made it with sourcream I must say i much prefer the sourcream version.

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

This was good, I made my own biscuits, but I will warn you that you don't want too much biscuit dough on top make thinner biscuits than usual because it can get doughy and biscuits can over power the chiken mixture which taste great.

Wild Goose Breasts with Orange Glaze

it might be that I just don't like goose, but I thought it was not tender AT ALL it was tough and leathery, however I had never had goose before this, my husband went out killing geese and I felt I had to vindicate him by cooking his kill, but no it was not good. I am not looking forward to goose hunting season.

Rhubarb Strawberry Jam

I'm a jam greenhorn, just needed to use up some rhubarb. This was FABULOUS! I only put in 1.5 cups of sugar and it was plenty sweet. I also put my rhuubarb in a blender, instead of leaving it over night I will make it again and again.

Cheddar Chicken Spaghetti

it wasn't the most esthetically pleasing, but once my husband actually tried it he really liked it,and so did I its kind of like a baked alfredo, I also added garlic and italian seaoning my husband suggested that next time I use mozzerella instead of cheddar and maybe add some mushrooms... over all aa good easy comfort food.
