Good, not memorable. I used it to marinade chicken.

Garlic Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
Very good. I didn't measure the garlic powder and added some parmesan cheese to a couple of cobs. The only thing I'll do different next time is let them go longer in the oven (45-60) minutes.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
W.O.W. This was Ahhmazing. Sooooo good. I used more minced garlic then garlic powder. I only had 1 3/4 tbsp of basil so I threw a little Italian seasoning and oregano in. Took 2 strip steaks out of the freezer, dumped on the marinade and let them go for 8-9 hours. A definite keeper.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This was really good and sooooo easy. Taking suggestions from the other reviewers I doubled the meat, used 2 cans of the soup, 1/2 cup low sodium beef broth instead of the water, and a dollop of sour cream. I would not add any salt until you are ready to add the cream cheese. Cooking on low for about 6 hours and then another 1/2 hour to let the cream cheese melt worked great.

Milk Braised Pork Loin

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I have to admit, reading some of the reviews of "curdled bites that pop in your mouth" had me a little hesitant to try this. My sauce was not as pretty as the pictures but the overall taste was very good. Ken had recommended I try this recipe a long time ago when I complained on the recipe buzz that I had some pieces of very dry pork loin. This did the trick. The pork was moist and flavorful. I will make it again and try to get a prettier outcome. :O)

Eclair Cake

This was good and easy. I do prefer it with the crackers more crunchy so I'll make it when I know there will be little to no leftovers. I did take the advice of heating the frosting first.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
This was good. I cut it in half and it was just the right amount for 6 good size chicken breasts. It definitely needs to marinate a while....4 hours was not enough. 8+ hours would be better.

Krystal's Perfect Marinade for BBQ or Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
This was good. I did reduce the soy sauce by 1/4 cup and increased the balsamic by 1/4 cup. I sliced BLSL breasts into strips and let it marinate 6 hours. I grilled the chicken and served it in a nice hoagie with bacon and provolone cheese.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
I like how simple and easy this recipe is but, like other reviewers, find it a bit too acidic. I even let it sit overnight to see if it mellowed any and it didn't. Not sure that I'll make it again.

I doubled the recipe because I knew LTH wouldn't steer me wrong and offer up a bad recipe. Good and tasty. I left out the hot sauce and didn't double the red pepper flakes. I'm glad I didn't. Next time, I'll probably leave them out altogether. A little more kick then I like to have. :O)

Dutch Babies II

This is really good. I made one with nutmeg and one with vanilla. We liked the vanilla one better. I took others suggestions and warmed the eggs and milk before mixing together. I used a 9" round cake pan and baked it in the toaster oven. Thanks for sharing Barbara!

This is easy and yummy! It was a big hit at the bbq party I took it to. The only change I made was to leave out the cilantro. Make sure to drain the tomatoes really well.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2010
This is very good and, of course, easy. Make sure the meat is "submerged." The parts that weren't fully covered were a bit dry. It needs a bit more seasoning to make it a 5-star.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
The family really enjoyed this. I did prepare it a little different based on reviews and my family's preferences. Once I rolled up the chicken, I dipped it in an egg wash and rolled it in breadcrumbs seasoned with paprika, black pepper, and garlic. I baked the chicken at 350 for about 40 minutes and made the sauce in a saucepan and served it tableside. I think next time I'll add some dijon mustard to the sauce to add another dimension. It took almost 45 minutes to prep (clean/trim chicken, pound chicken, assemble the chicken/ham/swiss, egg wash, and bread). That being said, the recipe is worth the effort.
