This was excellent chicken. Nice and crispy. I've tried a few other recipes on here and none of them turned out as good as this. It has a nice mild flavor, so if you like your chicken a little bolder you might want to add some more spices. I'll probably try a little cayenne and garlic next time.

This was good, not great. The filling has potential but was pretty bland as-is. I love the rich, creaminess of it and I think with some added flavor (maybe replace some of the milk with a liqueur?) it would really be great. Also helps to doctor the mix a bit. Some cocoa powder and sour cream go a long way. For those concerned about the raw egg, there's a simple fix. Whisk your chocolate, egg, and water together in a double boiler. This will both melt your chocolate and pasteurize your egg. After you remove it from heat, stir in the butter until melted and finally the sugar and vanilla.

I wish I could do a 4.5 rating. This was really good, but not *quite* a 5 star. It was a lot of work for the end result. The only change I made was to add some breadcrumbs and pats of butter to the top before it went in the oven so it would brown.

Nice, easy recipe. For the reviewers that had trouble, there's a simple fix. You have to wait until until your egg/sugar mixture is room temperature before adding the butter. This will take at LEAST 10 minutes of whipping. I usually set my KA on high and then go do something else so I'm not tempted to add the butter too soon. If also doesn't hurt to use slightly chilled butter as well.

I made this for my husband yesterday and he loved it! Sadly, I can't eat eggs so I didn't get to try it myself, but he can't quit singing its praises. I followed the recipe *almost* exactly. The only difference was the ladyfingers. The recipe called for 2 (12) ounce packs, but the ones I found in the store were in 3 ounce packs. They were the soft type, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I used a total of 6 ounces of them and used a spray bottle to spritz on the Kahlua.

I'm not a chili eater, so this is based on my husbands opinion. He said the flavor was good, but that the balance of meat/beans/tomatoes was a bit "off." I followed the recipe exactly, so if I make it again I'll probably tweak it a bit. Probably another can of beans and another .5 - 1 pound of meat. Definitely wort trying, especially when you compare the ingredient list to a lot of others on here. Simplicity can be good!

I liked the simplicity for a curry newb like me. The coconut rice was very good. I did, however, learn that I don't like tofu. Oops. I'll try this again with chicken and more curry powder.

Good starter recipe. I sauteed the chicken and some onion in a little olive oil before adding the water. When the "dumplings" were about halfway cooked, I added a bag of mixed vegetables.Turned out fantastic!

It was good, not great. There wasn't a ton of flavor, which was disappointing. I took the reviewers advice of using butter and allowing the roux to cook for 10 minutes before adding the milk. I might try it again using sausage or bacon fat instead.

The consistency was good, but there wasn't much flavor. I think more sugar and maybe a splash of lemon juice would work well with the berries.

My dogs loved these! I spent way too long the other day making a different, messy, complicated recipe and the dogs didn't even like them! These were so simple and the dough was really easy to work with. Next time I'll be making a double batch! I also added a carob frosting to these and the dogs went nuts for them. I used: 12 oz softened cream cheese (you could use low fat, but that's not an issue with my dogs), 1 tablespoon honey, and 2-3 tablespoons carob powder. Mix it up, put it in a ziplock or decorator bag and ice the cookies. They will need to be refrigerated though! I put each layer (in a large tupperware) in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up the frosting then just stacked the next layer on top.

I feel bad for giving such a bad rating but I have to agree with the review ihopethatsnotacricket. The batter was very thick, didn't stick, and had no flavor. They tasted like onions coated in plain flour.

My husband and I both loved this recipe. He said it was his favorite chicken he's ever had! Very moist and spicy. The only changes I made was I used pounded split breasts to decrease the oven time. I didn't have any trouble with the coating sticking, but I did use a fork instead of a spatula to flip which may have helped. I baked it on a rack as well so both sides were nice and crispy. Yum!
