The cookies were good with the modifications that I made. I used 1/2c of brown sugar and 1/2c of splenda. I also used 3/4c of white flour and 1/4 of wheat bran. The cookies turned out nice and they were still REALLY sweet. I think they would have been too sweet using 3/4c of each sugar.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I cut the recipe in half and tried one of the cookies as soon as it came out of the oven. I thought it was really lacking in flavour and was a little disapointed. I let the rest of the cookies cool before I frosted them. I tried one of the frosted ones and YUM! It was delicious! The dough was really easy to work with. I left half in the fridge while I worked with the other half which worked well.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

These cookies were great. I doubled everything except for the nuts and the white chocolate chips. I thought there was plenty of each in my double batch and wouldn't have wanted more. They were cooked for 7 minutes which darkened the bottom, crisped the edges and left the middle soft and chewy. These cookies are very sweet! I am a fan of sweet but they were almost too sweet. That's a good thing though because I wasn't able to eat a dozen in one sitting!

Scottish Shortbread IV

These cookies turned out great. I cut the recipe in half and used brown sugar splenda in the place of the brown sugar. I should have only used 1/4c of the splenda blend however I wasn't thinking and ended up using 1/2c. I had a taste of the dough and wondered why they were so sweet. DUH! Regardless they were still excellent!

Graham Streusel Coffee Cake

There was only one bad thing about this cake. It's so good you want to eat the whole thing. I've made it twice so far and it's turned out great both times! So good!!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Great tasting muffins. I used a bit less than 1/2c of brown sugar blend splenda instead of the white sugar. I also used a little less than 1/3c of butter. My only complaint is that the tops turned soggy in the container but they still tasted great!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This was the best chocolate cake that I've ever had. Instead of using 1 cup of oil I used 1/2 cup of oil and 1/2 cup of applesauce. I also used 2 packages of fat free/sugar free pudding mix, 3/4 cup of low fat sour cream and only 1 cup of chocolate chips. It was great eaten warm with the Satiny Chocolate Glaze recipe that I found on the site. I will be making this again!!
