I grew up in Oregon but currently reside in California. I'm 32 yrs. old and am studying to become a Nutritionist. I started cooking about four years ago. I was kind of afraid of the kitchen before that. My father raised me which means I was treated to frozen dinners and tater tots. Kind of a dream when you're a kid but not when that's what you have to refer to as an adult. I finally overcame my fear and bought some cookbooks. I tested recipes on my friends and realized I kind of have a knack for this. From there I just kind of went crazy. Researching recipes on the internet and creating dishes of my own. I currently take classes at a culinary school 2 nights a week and enjoy it very much. It brings me great joy to cook for people I care for! Cooking is now one of my passions! I try my best to make healthy foods. But my favorite things to cook are usually cakes, pastries, and desserts!
