Pumpkin Butter Bread

Not bad but I have pumpkin bread recipes which are easier to prepare and I do not need to use the more expensive pumkin butter in it. This is a very moist bread. The pumpkin flavour is quite subtle.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This is one of the best pumpkin breads I have ever had. I made it today and am so happy with the way it turned out. I use the little loaf pans and got 8 loaves for my effort.

Rosemary Raisin Cookies

Unique and very tasty. I did not have fresh rosemary so used dried and also used regular raisins not golden. Will definitely be making these over and over.

At first I was sure I had done something wrong as the batter was more like cookie dough. Had to pat the batter into the cake pan. Untill they were cooled and frosted I worried and wondered but WOW the first taste told everybody this was a keeper recipe.

Horseradish Sauce

Just note that this needs to be real horseradish, not horseradish sauce. The sauce is much to mild. I use 'COLD SPRINGS' real horseradish and this was AWESOME!

Pepperoncini Beef

Cardamom Almond Biscotti

This is the first time I have ever tried making biscotti but is definitely not my last. Everybody enjoyed this recipe. I knew in advance I would since cardamom is one of my favourite baking spices.

Pebber Nodder (Danish Christmas Cookies)

Perfect for the office Christmas party. Everybody loved the bite sized nibbles. Many had never tasted cardamom and are now hooked (I add more than called for as it is probably my favourite baking spice.

A Peanutty S'more

What a nice change from the usual s'more. I used the full size 'Reese's' Peanut Butter Cup since I figured being thinner it would melt better. I did try one with the fatter little ones and did not like that at all. It will never replace the original for me but "variety IS the spice of life!"
