About this Cook
I definitely love to cook, and I've enjoyed it as long as I could remember, but now it's what calms me down. Its what I look forward to at the end of a long day. I'm known for my Lemon Garlic Tilapia and although I'm only intermediate, I aspire to be great!
My favorite things to cook
As I said before, Lemon Garlic Tilapia is simply a-mazing! My mom is always telling me I have a way with meats and entrees. My second favorite thing to make is Chicken Parmigiana. Making delish choco-chip cookies and other super simple desserts. I absolutely ADORE Italian food and would be open to any interesting recipes. I enjoy making Bruschetta, Lasagna, Applie Pie, and anything that involves taste testing. ;)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Here and there, good cooks everywhere... Good way to describe my family. My grandmother is an absolutely fantastic cook and my dad was an inventive, health freak. He would use ingredients that most of us would never DREAM of; and he made the most disgusting and plain jane things exciting and simply delicious.
My cooking triumphs
When I perfected my Chicken Parmigiana. The first time a made a HUGE brunch for my family: eggs in toast, brown sugar glazed bacon, and more! The first time I made chocolate chip and spiced oatmeal raisin cookies from scratch. When I held my first dinner party and served some AMAZING lasagna. My first attempt at applie pie and discovering my hidden talent with chicken (either braised, broiled, baked, grilled, or fried, its my thing)!
My cooking tragedies
BROWNIES!!! I must have tried dozens of recipes before I found the "perfect" brownie. Pancakes! It's taken me forever to get them off the skillet without ruining them. There's many more - too many to count, actually. Don't relish in the failure though. :)

Iced Mocha Fusion Shake
Absolutely GREAT! It was quick and easy. I made a couple of changes tho for my preferences. I used 1/2 sugar and put 1 tbs of chocolate syrup; still too sweet. I used a Caupachino flavored mix (i know i spelled it wrong - sorry) and absolutely DELISH! thanks for a great recipe

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
I dont know how this got so many raving reviews. To me - it was just sugar and peanut butter. Really sweet and 8 minutes did not suffice in baking time. Had to bake it an extra 5 minutes.

Antipasto Salad
This made a GREAT lunch! I left out the broccoli and added crumbled feta cheese. I left the pasta and parmesan cheese in the dressing overnight. In the morning, I added the pepporoni and feta cheese. It was yummy!!!
