About this Cook
Ive been cooking before I could read, either on my own or with my mom. I LOVE cooking and don't see how other people cant create decent meals. Cooking is truly an art.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts are my specialty although I am great at cooking anything. I love the pastries, pies, cakes, and anything that you feel bad eating ;]
My favorite family cooking traditions
Apple pies, prime rib, smashed potatoes and everyone together for some funny times :]
My cooking triumphs
Anything I make, because even if it doesn't turn out the way I wanted I gained something in experience and know what to change (or not to) next time.
My cooking tragedies
lets just say too much garlic powder, but that was when I was 10 but I learned my lesson the first time.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
EXCELLENT cookie!!! I used butter flavored Crisco instead of butter (same amount) and I DID grease the cookie sheet and I feel that did help, the edges were crunchy and the center was chewy, that is my perfect cookie right there! Thanks for the recipe!!

Tender Italian Baked Chicken
Really great! Fast and easy too!! Chicken is SOOOO moist and crispy on the outside. I used Italian style breadcrumbs and all the seasonings listed and it was perfect. Great with potatoes! Will be making again!

Dark Chocolate Cake I
All I can say is FABULOUS!!! Incredible color, taste, and smell! Very easy to make too. Dense and chocolaty (for those of you who said that it wasn't or was too bland, perhaps you should use better quality ingredients, they DO make a difference) but not sickly sweet. Just an all over beautiful cake! Will DEF. be making this one from now on!
