First of all, I love fudge and make different kinds every year and have been doing so for awhile now. I made this exactly as stated, with some reservations, and it failed miserably. Undeterred, I tried again making it more like I usually prepare fudge, which is adding the vanilla, marshmallow cream and chocolate after the fudge reaches soft ball stage. This resulted in a thicker fudge, but still not like I like it. The taste is wonderful, but I did use pumpkin pie spice. I am going to try another recipe I located because really fudge should not be this hard! I do have some yummy mistakes to eat!
