It's me!!
About this Cook
I'm 25 years old, recently married and just moved to Idaho. Right now I am enjoying not working for a change and have been doing a lot of cooking lately. I don't have any children but I have the sweetest and cutest dog in the world!
My favorite things to cook
Pasta dishes, anything with chicken in it and I love love love to bake. I make excellent rum balls, cakes, cupcakes, cookies and banana bread!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family never really cooked when I was growing up, we always ate out. Although, I remember Thanksgivings and Christmas' mashed potatoes were always my favorite thing with lots of gravy.
My cooking triumphs
I have created some of the most delicious whole wheat pasta dishes and also some yummy Italian chicken dishes. My favorite thing is getting all the compliments from my friends and family letting me know how delicious my creations are. They tell me I need to start a restaurant.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make spicy green beans one time, the kind we order when we go out to Thai Food, and they were like black sludge but other then that, everything normally comes out great surprisingly.

Asparagus Cashew Rice Pilaf
Yummy!! Super pretty with it's presentation too! I would maybe add more asparagus next time just because I love it so much and also, golden raisens could be a great addition.

Greek Spaghetti II
Everything was soo yummy and perfect before I baked it, the browned butter, smell of oregano and parmesan. But...when I baked it, it never got bubbly like the recipe said and also dried out a bit. I didn't use fresh parmesan so that may have made a difference but...it was still tasty! I will make this again with a few tweaks.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs
These were very yummy, I marinated them for 3 hours! Unfortunately, I am not a skilled BBQ-er and burned most of them to a crisp :( It was very sad but some were edible and those that were, were delicious!
