I subsituted the fruit in the recipe with a pear, an apple, maraschino cherries and an orange. I only let the fruit soak for about four hours but it was still delicious! I served it hanging out with friends in the afternoon and they all loved it. Later that night I went out to dinner at a tapas restaurant with some friends and we got a pitcher of their sangria which was good but nowhere as good as this recipe! This recipe has the potential to be very potent but the drunk fruit is delicious!
