My mom cooked all the time while I was growing up. I used to help so I learned a lot. When I went off to college and had to start cooking for myself or eat cafeteria food I got a lot more practice.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
This is probably the best recipe I have made to date from this site. I cannot say anything bad about this soup. It truly is delicious!

Cheesy Corn
Amazing!! I followed some of the other advice and used half as much butter, it is still a little too much in my opinion and I may take it down further in the future.

Homemade Chicken Fettuccine
This was delicious. Probably the best fettuccine I have ever had. My wife gave it a thumbs up as well.
