I am a vegetarian in college trying to feed myself on a dime. I succeed much of the time and feed my friends and passerby. Pasta! There's nothing better. So many sauces, so little time. My family is a firm believer that you drink what you cook. Many a night, my mom popped open a bottle of wine before starting dinner. I don't remember much of the cooking lessons, but anything tastes good after a few glasses of wine. My first chocolate souffle topped with a homemade whip cream and raspberry sauce. So amazing! No tragedies; only experience. Food should be fun. Worst case scenerio, there's a take out chinese place down the street.
