I love to cook because I love to eat.
My favorite things to cook
I love roast chicken, it's my favorite way to cook and eat chicken, unless it's fried, and anything fried is good on it's own. I try to bake what ever will satisfy my sweet tooth at the moment.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad makes the best spaghetti. I usually don't like vegetables in my sauce but my dad's spaghetti sauce is just so rich in flavor, plus he always cooks up 3-5 different types of pasta to soak up the delicious sauce. Whenever I go home my mom always makes a huge pot of 'Pho', which is the best comfort food of all. We also have at least one big family dinner, and when I say family it's aunts, uncles, cousins, etc... I love it because it usually revolves around us sitting around a table rolling up egg rolls and eating until we can't even stand.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I cooked a rack of lamb I really thought I had destroyed it. But it turned out fabulous. And I've also learned that roasting a duck is like sticking butter in the oven.
My cooking tragedies
Oh how often I have done this, but I'm getting better.
