About this Cook
I've always worked in the restaraunt industry and b/c of that and the way I 've been brought up I love to cook! My Mom and Grandma taught me how to cook and I've always enjoyed cooking for everybody I know! In fact, I'm thinking of going and getting a degree in culinary arts just so I can have my own restaraunt someday.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook ethnic foods, things I've never cooked before and I always love to cook things that other people love. I will always cook food that I grew up with as well and I love it when people love to eat what I grew up eating. Especially when my I know that I'm carrying on a family tradition.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I loved helping my Grandma and my Mom to cook! My grandma taught me how to make Chicken Noodle Soup for everybody the way that she did and I will always treasure that memory! My mother taught me how to cook all of our family favorites and nobody else and I will never tell how to make what I make b/c it makes me feel special that I know and nobody else does.
My cooking triumphs
Being able to copy things that I've had at restaraunts and being able to cook everything my Mom does and make it taste good! Oh yeah I made up my own recipe for stir-fry when I was 14 and I have always been proud of it!
My cooking tragedies
I haven't had any real tragedies I'd call them learning experiences!

Mexican-Style Goulash
I found this recipe to be bland. I sauteed green peppers and onion and added some garlic and that didn't help it at all. I grew up eating goulash and I couldn't taste any hint of mexican. I even used Diced tomatoes with chili's to help and it didn't. I had to use alot of salt and pepper to even give it some kind of taste. Next time I'll make the goulash i grew up eating.

Chili Dip
This recipe was okay. I ended up putting in some Chipolte Cheddar and some extra Chili to thicken it up a bit and it wasn't the hit dip of the party but still people loved it. Not sure I'll make this again.

Mini Crescent Burgers
These were absolutely delicious. I would never have come up with the idea. The filling was delicious I added a little Worcestershire Sauce, A1 (Peppercorn), and I used Monterey Jack chesse instead of the Cheddar. Everybody loved them and wanted the recipe. We had a couple things to dip them in that we kind of thru together. It's a little time-comsuming but so worth it.
