I enjoy life in a small town and love to cook and try new recipes. I love to cook soups, fried chicken, any type of red meat. I'm addicted to Allrecipes.com and surf the recipes to get ideas all the time. So far I have not been disapointed. I also like to cook Italian, Mexican, ect. Every year my family gets together to have a big St. Patricks dinner that consists of corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and lots of mustard. My cooking triumph was for sure the time I made a cheese cake that was perfect. I used Chantels cheesecake recipe from this site. It took me three seperate times till I finally got it perfect. It was soooo good all three times but it kept cracking on me. Once I figured out how to keep it from cracking it was sweet victory. I have had many cooking tragedies. The one that sticks out in my mind the most is when I made my first batch of cookies. They were supposed to be sugar cookies but ended up far from that. They came out of the oven and there they were...a fresh batch of little green, pipping hot, sponges.
