I am a 25 year old stay at home mom. I have 2 wonderful daughters ages 4 and 1. We are a tight-knit military family that enjoys spending quality time together. I love to bake. Cookies, cakes, biscotti, you name it and I'll try to bake it! Italian foods are favorite things to cook. Every year for Thanksgiving my husband and I cook a large dinner even though it's usually just us and our two children. It makes us feel like we're back home with our families eating a huge meal! I've come a long way. My mom wouldn't cook anything unless she could microwave it, so I had to teach myself to cook. Cooking during the first year of marriage was difficult because I had no idea what I was doing! Now I can follow any recipe and have even made up my own special dishes. Before I was married I tried to cook a ham for my parents. When we went to eat the wonderfully smelling and seasoned ham, we realized that I had forgotten to remove the brown paper that was wrapped around the ham!
