BBQ Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
My husband loved these ribs. I cooked them covered for 2 hours at 300 degrees with a small amount of water and apple cider vinegar. I uncovered them, drained the liquid and added the BBQ sauce and cook at 250 for additional hour. Great.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

This was the best. The only thing I changed was I used less hot sauce, but only because I have small children. It was great!

This is a great recipe. The only change I made was that I cut down on the salt.

Elaine's Sweet and Tangy Loose Beef BBQ

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
This is a great recipe. I found you do have to cook the meat in the water a lot longer then this recipe calls for. I added a few drops of liquid smoke. The second time I made this I was also low on ketchup and substituted the remaining amount with BBQ. It worked just as well.

My family and I enjoyed this recipe. I cut the vinegar in half and added another clove of garlic.

Chicken Parmigiana

Love it! I did butterfly the chicken and then pounded it. I added some garlic and oregano to the bread crumbs. I also baked it first on a rack and did not pour any sauce on top of the chicken as suggested by others.

Hugh's Dry Rub

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
This rub was so overwhelming that my family could not enjoy the flavor of the meat. I even reduced the amounts of both peppers and added some brown sugar. We, normally, enjoy spicy food, but this was way too much.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Great Pizza Crust! I used unbleached all-purpose flour. I used a pizza stone. I also cut the dough in half after the rise to make two smaller pizzas.

Brown Rice

Way too salty and it felt like it was missing something. Next time I will try to find some low sodium ingredients and maybe try adding some mushrooms.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Very Blah! I gave it more than one star because it wasn't gross and it was easy to make. I will not try this again.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
I am so glad I read the other reviews first. I boiled my chicken with 2 low sodium chicken bouillon cubes. I omited the mayo and added 2/3 c. milk, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/8 tsp garlic powder, and 1/8 tsp pepper. I then used 1 1/2 cup of the water that I boiled my chicken in to premoistened my stuffing (which was boxed chicken flavor). The next time I make this I am going to double the stuffing and mix up the veggies.

Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
I liked the recipe, but my husband could live without it. It was definately too much work for the lack of excitement it received. I microwaved bacon for a couple of minutes first. I am gald I did.
