About this Cook
Once, when I was about 2 or 3 years old, my mom was sick with the stomach flu. I decided to make her lunch. I microwaved a hot dog for her, and put it on a tray with some crackers. Needless to say, she couldn't stomach that meal. I've been working to master the kitchen ever since
My favorite things to cook
Everything!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
As a member of a chinese-american household, I never found it odd that thanksgiving at grandma's house always included fried rice and chow mein, until I asked my teacher in the 6th grade why they didn't serve chow mein. Boy, did she give me a funny look!!
My cooking triumphs
I tend to make up my recipes as I go. Sometimes I follow a recipe, but usually, I like to wing it.
My cooking tragedies
The cheesecake. I was on the phone with my mom and completely forgot that it was in the oven. My hubby was not so enthusiastic about eating it.

Bachelor Grilled Cheese
I've been making grilled cheese this way for years. I stopped calling the "grilled" though, after much bickering with the hubby. We call them "nuclear cheese" now, and the kiddo loves it.
