About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom and I 've been cooking for awhile now. I'm just starting to try new things that are homade and not out of a box!
My favorite things to cook
Slow cooker roast, lasagna, mexican meatloaf and I love to bake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking cookies at Christmas time with mom.
My cooking triumphs
Slow cooker roast beef. I always made it the same way and and it came out good. But I decided to try a new recipe I found on this site and it turned out awesome. I won't be using another recipe for pot roast!
My cooking tragedies
fajitas...

Salsa Chicken
So a few things here. I used really big chicken breasts and while they were very juicy they were completly bland. All we tasted was chicken & sour cream, none of the salsa, cheese or seasoning. I even used 4 tbsp taco seasoning. So if you plan on using big chicken breasts, either add more taco seasoning or wait until you have smaller. I do plan on trying again using smaller ones. I figured it would turn out good with all of the good ratings and it sounds really good too.

Sloppy Joes II
5 stars with some changes. I didn't add green peppers only because no one in my family likes them. I added 1/2 cup of ketchup and about a half cup bbq sauce(sweet & zesty), went ahead with the 3 tsp of brown sugar but ended up adding about 3tbsp more, 1 whole (med) onion & a dash of worchestire sauce. Turned out great. We like ours sweet. My hubby doesn't even like sloppy joes but he enjoyed these.
