About this Cook
Although I indulge in all kinds of food, I especially appreciate the raw flavors of nature. For instance, I don't understand why people salt their melons or sugar their strawberries when the natural taste is so perfect. Also, I think green beans taste the best fresh and simply steamed-no sauce, no seasoning.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking cookies, but for the benefit of my thighs, I try not to partake in that activity too often.

George Washington Chocolate Cake
This recipe is a keeper! It's very moist and delicious. The only thing I changed from the original directions was to double the amount of cherries (and I didn't chop finely, I left them kinda chunky). It was fantastic!

Apple Bundt Cake
This cake wasn't bad, but it was too bland for my tastes... I probably won't be making it again.
