Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties
OMG! This recipe is the bomb! You can't even tell you're eating ground turkey! For a 3 lb pkg of ground turkey, I add 2 tsp sea salt, doubled the rest of the spices, and added 1/2 t. ground thyme and 1 t. granulated garlic. I heated up a skillet on the spot (with a little canola oil) and fried up 2 small test patties. Hmmm..very good, but maybe I'dd add the 2 big Tbl maple syrup as other reviewers did...not so good. The sugar in the syrup carmelized (burned) on the outside--even on very low heat. I will use up this batch but leave out the maple syrup next time. Thanks for a great preservative free recipe!
