Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
Oh my goodness! These are AMAZING! The first time I made these, I followed the recipe exactly. The second time I substituted 2 cups of whole wheat flour with 1 TBSP gluten for 2 cups of the all purpose flour to make them a bit healthier. Both times they disappeared very quickly. It's a little labor intensive with rolling them out, but it's worth it!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I tried other recipes and always had trouble getting it to turn out right. This has turned out PERFECT EVERY TIME! We add 1 cup of chocolate chips and substitute applesauce for the oil. Absolutely amazing!

Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This bread is just okay. The loaf turned out well, but the taste was not anything wonderful. I used 1/4 cup of honey and I couldn't even really tell. I probably won't be making this again.

Banana Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This is simply delicious! I made this twice.. the first time I pre-mixed the ingredients. The second time I just dumped them all in (since other reviewers recommended this). It turned out WAY better when I premixed the ingredients. I don't know if it's just my brand of bread machine. I will definitely make this again and again, only premixing the ingredients every time.

Dill Pickle Meatloaf

I've never been able to make a good meatloaf before, but this one tasted amazing! Everyone loved it. I should have made two! The only substitution I made was using crackers instead of bread. Excellent!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

I had no idea I was capable of making cookies that are THIS good. They're seriously the best cookies I've ever had. They turn out so moist and soft every time!

Barbequed Hamburgers

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
Oh my goodness, these are so good! Yes, they taste like meatloaf. The only change I made was doubling the sauce and using 1/2 distilled vinegar and 1/2 apple cider vinegar. A definite keeper!

Wow! I'm impressed. This was such a simple recipe I wasn't expecting much. They actually turned out really tender and flavorful. I will definitely make these again.

Extra Easy Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
To me, this doesn't taste like fudge at all. It tastes like canned frosting. It was easy, for sure, but I won't be making this again.

Three Cheese Spaghetti Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
This was a great change from regular spaghetti. I personally enjoy this WITH the pie shell. I did only use two of the three cheeses since that was all I had on hand, and it turned out wonderfully just the same.

Chicken Flautas

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
These are so easy to make! I cooked my chicken in the crock pot and it was so easy to shred. I did think it could use a little extra kick, but my husband doesn't like things too spicy and he thought they were perfect.

Mexican Rice II

Easy to prepare, and I think it's much better than the prepared rice mixes out there. I used a can of diced tomatoes, and it turned out perfectly.

Fudge Puddles

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
Absolutely amazing! These were so easy to make and the most delicious cookies I've ever had. I used a regular muffin tin, and since I didn't have a melon baller I just used a tablespoon to make the indentations. It made 24 regular sized cookies, and I had some extra filling left over (about enough to make 6 more). I just used the extra chocolate to make smores for the kids.

Pizza Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
I've made these several times now and they're always a hit. They're really easy to make and have a great flavor. I've found that they do have a tendency to fall apart or get crumbly. The cheese helps to hold them together, and it helps to use higher quality meat. Even when they're crumbly, they still taste great.
