I love Mexican food of any type. It's always been my personal favorite.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Southern, and Amish/Mennonite with a little experimentation from other areas thrown in.
My cooking triumphs
German Black Forest Cake looked spectacular and was extremely well received.
My cooking tragedies
tuna casserole which had tuna in it that was bad. Too yukky for words

Lime Fruit Salad in a Mold
Taste was not bad but thought it was a little expensive to make really often. Jazzy

Root Beer Float Cake I
As a long-time lover of root beer floats, I was thrilled to find this recipe. However, you couldn't even taste root beer in this cake, whatsoever. It just tasted like an overly rich butter cake. After the first helpings were served, nobody wanted seconds.
