These were delicious, and the dough was so good my tummy hurt from eating too much! Mine definitely spread while cooking, but were about the best I've had. They are more like a cake-cookie, but not enough to give them a bad rating. I followed the recipe exactly except 1c of coarsely chopped nuts and 2c of chocolate chips. DELICIOUS!

This is so good, I make this when I have to prepare something for work and I never have anything to take home. It is so easy to substitute - add other nuts, heath bar pieces, even warmed raspberry jam! YUMMY!
